Can anyone please help me! I have a ipaq 1940 and have active sync installed on my pc. The pc allows me to sync with the ipaq but when i try to open and explore the ipaq files on my pc i get a message saying ! "Critical communications services have failed to start try resetting the mobile devices and try again". Have tried this many times getting nowhere fast, have not got a clue how to reslove this problem. Anyhelp[ would be great chimbo:)

Do you have any firewall/security running on the desktop? Also make sure you have the latest Activesync running (3.7.1).
