my mother and i have always had a rocky relationship, but a couple days ago, she took it to a new level. she realized that everything that mattered to me was in my palm, and knew she had the power to make my life hell. so she took my precious zire 72 out of its case and threw it down onto a wooden table. i promise you i did nothing to provoke her, my entire family believes she is schizophrenic and she refuses to get help. it looks ok when it's off, but when you turn it on, there are tons of cracks and it looks like gasoline. what's even worse is that my palm software on my computer was messed up, so when i try to open it to get all my synchronized info, all these error messages pop up and that's it. i don't know what to do!!!! its' bad enough that i can't recover teh information, but now i have no palm and am leading an aimless life!! i bought it off overstock.com a couple months ago and i think my warrantee might be up. it was "blemished" but i didn't see any blemishes when ig ot it so i think it was actually factory refurbished. i saved up for months at a shitty minimum wage job just to get my palm and now it's gone. i've been crying for days!! does anyone know what i can do? should i write to palm and hope that they feel enough compassion to send me another if i return the one i have? is it fixable? please, someone, help!!!

Hey,
Not quite sure how far ya've got in terms of resolving your issue. I would however start out by calling Palm up and telling them my story. Ya can either do that and/or you can e-mail them your story. You can also try having it published in the paper. You have no idea how much sympathy you can get, resulting in getting yourself a new palm (a few bucks from every reader and ya might be all set). I also have the Zire 72, and I'd be cryin' my ass off if someone were to kill is as well. Hope this helped.
