But everything I've heard it is quite simple. As a side note even with the CF+ Sleeve if sucks the battery down. AdamTMcEvoy 11-14-2002, 03:31 PM I found it doesn't work unless I have my nose against the power button on the TV. You might be better off looking at aspecific universal remote. Nitestrike 11-14-2002, 10:23 PM That's odd, I can stand accross the room for all of my equipment. There is also an update for the Ir on the 3900 series. scottleadready2 11-15-2002, 01:40 AM I am using my 3975 and have had great success. I wouldn't suggest it if your trying to have it control a whole bunch of cheap equipment, I have 1 cheapo TV that it doesn't work with. Other than that 1 magnavox TV, I have 2 Sony TV's 3 Sony DVD Players (2 the same model, 1 is different), 1 Panasonic TV, 1 Zenith TV, 1 Sony CD Player, Tape Deck Stereo system deal, 1 Sharp VCR, and 1 Panasonic VCR. Mine works from a good 20 feet away, the programming of the devices was dead simple and the ability to store your favorite channells as programmed buttons in the remote is great. The battery on the 3975 is pretty good, but if your like most people and want to charge it only once a week then your batteries will deffinetly die. I give mine a complete charge every night and use it for wireless Email, Remote functionality, minor web browsing, normal PIM stuff and reading books. Nothing could be better. daverules 11-16-2002, 11:21 AM scottleadready2 is right NEVO (the preinstalled remote controller) is a great little program. I only wish the buttons could be a little smaller so I could get more on a page. I've breifly experienced with a another remote controller program (one by PDAwin.com), it had a rougher interface than NEVO and didn't have as many installed brand profiles. NEVO works on every IF device I've thrown at it so far, even a 12 year old Hitachi Projection screen! PDA Street
