Going crazy Sync M505 with Outlook 2000

Can anyone help me? I used to have a Treo 600 but in view of the bugs and problems, I gave it back to the store and purchased the Sony Ericsson. Now I have all my Treo data on an old Palm M505. How can I pass my 6-800 contacts (addressbook) from my M505 to the P910i. I thought of synchronizing the M505 with Outlook 2000 (handheld overwriting desktop!!!) and then sync the P910 with Outlook contacts, but the sync does not work, there are only 2 garbled text lines there.

The Palm, along with Pocket Mirror, obviously got your contacts into Outlook successfully. It sounds like the P910i is causing the sync problem. Since the P910i uses the Symbian operating sytem, the right place to post this is in the Smartphone forum, where you will find people with more experience syncing Symbian OS phones with Outlook.
