When I establish a VPN connection with my IPAQ and wireless D-LINK card using the built in VPN client, soon as I try to browse the web or check email, the VPN connection disconnects. Any one have any ideas? I can use the VPN connection with my desktop just fine.

Thanks.

Do you know what kind of hardware your connecting to? What does your company use for VPN (i.e. Watchguard Firebox???)

I'm trying to connect to a Cisco VPN Concentrator 3000.

Our setup is a little unique. We have our wireless access points on a private subnet so if anyone tries to use it, they must authenticate themselves on the VPN before they actually get out on our public subnet. This keeps our network a little more secure so anyone off the street can't just walk up and start using our wireless network and get an IP on one of our public subnets.

We've tried the Movian VPN client, but it does about the same thing. The Movian folks say clients are designed for people to connect to the VPN from a public address space and tunnel into a private address space. It's all symantecs, shouldn't matter what you're going from and to... it's just establishing a tunnel!

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
