I finally sent my s/n 9022xxxx for RMA due to an intermittent internal antenna and static screeches. I got my new unit today, s/n 9146xxxx. It appears to be a new unit; there's no wear on the hotsync contacts, the screen has the protective plastic wrap, and the finish is perfect.
When I put it into the cradle to charge before restoring everything, it just didn't look right. Took me a few minutes to figure out why. The case is a different silver color than the original. There is a slight gunmetal tone to it, so the buttons on the bottom look bright silver, and the rest of it is slightly gray/brown by comparison. The printing on the front and back is also slightly darker than the old one.
Has anyone else noticed the color difference? Perhaps it was changed with the release of the 3200?
