I am trying to sync my e310 to my computer. I found out yesterday that I cannot use the the USB port because I am operating on Windows 95. But I specifically bought this pocket pc because it was compatible with Windows 95. Any other suggestion of what port I can use? I have a headache!

USB is only compatible with win98 or newer. There are currently no serial cables that I am aware of that are compatible with e310. You might want to check if Compusa or another computer store has a USB to SERIAL conversion kit.

Do you have the Win 95 USB update?

Some USB kit can be made to work with Win 98, but it's flakey at best.

This might help

The later versions of Win95 (OSR 2.0 and 2.1) do support USB. You might see if you can get hold of one of those (or contact MS to see if they have an upgrade patch to enable USB support)

Alternatively, you could buy an infrared (irDA) port for your computer and sync via infrared -- but check to make sure that both Win 95 and your motherboard supports it. (if you have a laptop it may already be built in)
