Handera IBM Microdrive sw

Hi,

I am a future Clie NX user; through ClieSource we got together a number of people that has both the NX and the IBM 1Gb Microdrive.
We wanted to know if any of you that have the Handera could send us the drivers for the Microdrive that are built into your PDA. We want to see if the Microdrive will run in the NX with these SW drivers.

Thanks nwtfrosty, but we tried it and it did not work.

I don't think there is any special driver to make the micro drive work on the HE 330. The standard Palm OS drivers for CF enable it's use.

Isn't the CF slot on the NX for I/O ONLY? Sony made a REAL STUPID decision on this one (IMO).

This would mean that memory devices, like the micro drive and real CF, will not work.

Sony NX series are the first Sony handhelds to have a Compact Flash slot, in addition to the Memory Stick slot. However, this is not a standard Compact Flash slot, since it won't support any other cards than the Sony Wireless LAN (PEGA WL100 - 802.11b) card. This will allow the user who purchased such a card, browse the net, check E-mail and synchronize wirelessly from the NX handheld via a WiFi network.
