I used my Que to do some routing this past weekend. I tried something that I had never done before and it didn't work. Wanted to ask y'all if something went wrong or what.
I had the que route me to a place in the address book. This was no problem. I dropped someone off there, and then without turning off the Que, I tried to route to another place in the address book. The Que wouldn't show the 'Route To' option when I selected the Route icon with the address displayed. I then selected 'Stop Nav' when I saw that it was available, and tried to create another route again. Same problem. I closed the antenna (wasn't using the gilson this weekend) but didn't get the message that the GPS had been turned off. When I put it back out again I didn't get the usual message when the GPS is turned on. Next I scrolled the map to where I was going (about 100 miles away), selected the place and clicked 'Route' and this time it worked.
So, the question is, where did I go wrong? Is there some procedure you have to do after reaching a destination that you've routed to before creating another route? Before, I've always turned off the GPS and all after reaching a destination because I've never needed to route to two places back to back. Or, maybe I didn't do anything wrong and the Que just had to hiccup?
Thanks,
JJ
