Battery Life ?????

I was wondering what the battery life (how long you can use it at one time) should be on a 505. I have replaced the batt. in mine but still dosen't last more then 20min. or so. What do you think???

I think either something's wrong with your battery or you've installed it incorrectly. Did you let the new battery charge for at least six hours before you used your Palm? If not, you need to do a soft reset while your Palm is receiving power in the cradle. Leave it alone for at least six hours and see if that recalibrates the battery circuit.

If you did let it charge for six hours and you still only get 20 minutes of battery life, the battery is bad or you damaged the charging circuit when you were replacing the battery. You clould try for a replacement battery and see if that gives you the normal four to five hours of continious use you should get from a 505. If a second battery shows the same results, your 505 is broken beyond economic repair.

Thanks for the help. I will give that a try. I didn't say but that time (20min.) is with the back light on.
