My settings for the cache are fairly arbitrary.
I originally allowed cache but felt that some of the crashes out of Opera were due to memory shortage. What are the optimum settings for fast trouble free operation?
Whats the difference between RAM and Disc cache on a netbook?
I am slightly confused by the number of check boxes provided what do they all mean?
I have a large CF card but just the basic netbook memory. I try not to have much on the C drive by installing new stuff to D (including my email stored messages). Before opening anything the C drive has about 12 Mbyte available.
Also how can I tell if images etc are being taken from cache or downloaded I thought to see an increase in speed but on ebay the other day I thought everything was being downloaded afresh.
Please can anyone help with these queries?
