Hey!
I recently cracked the glass on my EM-500, but the screen is still perfect, but I need a new piece of glass for it. Any suggestions where I could get this new piece (Besides CASIO)? I'd really appreciate it!!:D
Thanks so much,
Conrad

There are only 2 pieces of glass on your device. One is your main LCD & the other is your touchscreen (digitizer) with integrated glass support.
Which one did you break ?
Give me your global geographic location & then I can guide youto the right source.

Hey
I broke the digitizer, and have already ordered a new one from Pacparts.com (for $27.50) right after I posted. Thanks anyway...but just out of curiosity, Im in New York, where would you have sent me to??
Thx,
Conrad:p

I would have suggested Casio in N.J.

Pmshah-
Casio charges a fixed rate of $257-- no matter what the problem. If I were to pay that, I might as wee have gotten a new one.

I was referring to Casio techno parts division not the repair service.
If your inclined to do so, you can replace the touch screen yourself. You can order the kit from Global Products, for $28.00 plus freight. I had a E-100, and I had to reuse the gasket that's attached to the glass assembly. It is required, because it keeps the dust out between touch glass and LCD screen, and the kit does not supply a new one, go figure. Good Luck.
