I've had my Tungsten for a week or so now. I've been testing a good number of programs on it. Among these are the new versions of YiShow and Kinoma. I have had no problems with Kinoma when it is launched from the default launcher, but when it is launched from YiShow, about 50% of the time, at the time you select the movie to play, it performs a soft reset. I've been told by another Tungsten user that he has had it reset and lost all of his data. This might be something to be careful of. I've been playing the new versions of Monopoly and Scrabble and they are very nice on the Tungsten. I tried ZLauncher today as well. It was pretty disappointing as it lacked small icons and high res fonts on the Tungsten, but it appears to have support for Clie. The Clie fonts wouldn't work on the Tungsten though. Another caution with apps is with Wordsmith. Wordsmith 2.2 has some real issues with OS 5. Wordsmith 2.2.2 seems to fix these issues and get it working fine. With version 2.2, you can open your document and read or edit, but if you happen to hit one of the hardware buttons, everything comes crashing down and the unit resets... most of the time a soft reset, but occasionally a hard one. Anyway, this is what I've found... How is everyone elses testing doing?
P.S: I've worked with the new TealMaster to implement hacks and TechSounds 4.1 works well. The Clie will support Startup and Shutdown screens, but the Tungsten does not. It will put the screens up, but it looks like they are displaying in a 4-color mode. If you don't mind that, the sounds work well, except they sound a little different than what I heard on the m515.
