Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Blank Screen, no connection!
after using my psion revo for about 18mths pretty stress free (apart from unable to get email working with 6210!) my revo is now dead!
the screen is completely blank and usual methods (escape button and using pen on screen) do not work.
I tried to remove a document or two to free up space but when placed in docking station, the green then red light appears but still no screen and unable to connect using psiwin...
any advice, much appreciated

You may have a "hung" application in the foreground so try pressing Ctrl-Fn-Shift-K to see if that clears it.
If not, try a 'soft' reset. If that still fails, try a 'hard' reset but be aware that this will destroy all of your data in the machine.
If a hard reset doesn't solve the problem then it is probably a repair job
Have you asked here for help about your email problems with the 6210 phone? There shouldn't be any reason why you can't get it to work.
Hi Mike
Just a quick message to thanks for your suggestions...
After a hard reset my revo's back on track!
Thank god for restore and thank you for your help...
Whilst we're here though... I've still never managed to set my email up with 6210. Any step by step guides available out there...?
Looking forward to your reply

The settings to use in "Control Panel / Modems" for the 6210 are in the "Mobiles" file on the General Info page of my website.
Hi again!
thanks for the tips on the modem settings for the nokia 6210, but i'm still having problems connecting.
when i try to connect to web, the revo dials to phone but i get the following error message...
Could not connect to internet
Problem communicating with internet service's modem
Call was unexpectedly dropped
Are there only specific ISP's that you can connect with? if so, which do you recommend..?
hope you can help again.....
regards

Could not connect to internet
Problem communicating with internet service's modem
Call was unexpectedly dropped This error message usually indicates that your account with your phone's network provider hasn't been enabled for 'Data' calls. Contact their Customer Support and ask them to enable Data calls on your phone, which they should be able to do almost immediately.
