SD-card popping out...

Every time I want to put my Ipaq in or out it's alu-protection cover and I accidentally touch the SD card, it pops out !
This is so annoying because one day I certainly will lose the card in that way?
Is there some kind of "tweak" to prevent this ?

What type of iPAQ do you have? On mine (h1945) it is rather difficult to accidentally pop the sd card out. The only suggestion I have is to just becareful and try not to press on the SD card. (I'm sure you've already thought of that idea)

Wally, have you thought about getting the ipaq rma'd? It could also be because the catchment mechanism in the ipaq is too soft to hold the card. They usually have a positive feel when you insert the card but maybe yours is not holding it correctly?

It's an Ipaq 2210 (both SD and FC slots), I tried to block the SD-card with some tape but that didn't work.
The CF card is ok, it's just when you push the Ipas into the alu-case and you push in the middle (where the cards are) then sometimes the SD card pops out (like you wnt to remove it)

I don't think that there is a real solution for that...

Yeah. It is possible that your iPAQ has a defect, but it sounds like jsut a design flaw. Like I said, about the only thing you can do is watch where you push so as not to accidentally release the SD card. Of course, there is always super glue...
