Email Synchronisation

Hi I am new to Psions can someone tell me if you can run email on the 5 series. I have read in the 5MX manual it is not possible is this correct? I am running psiwin 2.3 on psion 5 and windows 98 with outlook part of office 2000. The error message I get when trying is "the epoc mail server interface failed to initialise"

Any ideas.

In order to use email on a Series 5, you must install the Message Suite 1.52, which is available from www.psion.com/myPsion.

While you're there, I suggest you also obtain the two Sync Updates that fix some known bugs in Psiwin's Synchronisation feature.

The error message I get when trying is "the epoc mail server interface failed to initialise" As Diem says, you can run email on the Series 5 in so far as you can use Message Suite 1.52 to send and receive emails in conjunction with a modem connected to the S5.

However, you cannot synchronise the Series 5's mail with a PC, this requires the later ER5 operating system as in the 5mx, Revo etc.
