I'm not sure if my Palm m130 is totally dead or not. Please help.

I was travelling w/o my cradle, and the battery went very low. I put it back in the cradle but I don't hear the beep that it usually makes when it goes on. It does not go on when I press power.

When I do a soft reset, I get the Palm Powered logo, then the System Settings screen briefly, then a blank screen and it behaves as before. When I do a hard reset, I get the question about erasing all data. I answered yes and got the initial configuration screen briefly, but again the screen went blank. The Palm will not turn on, even in the cradle.

Can this Palm m130 be saved?

Thanks,
Arthur

First do an In-Cradle Reset:
http://kb.palmone.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE/,/?St=270,E=0000000000078272246,K=3710,Sxi=19,useTem plate=Case.tem,CASE=887
then let it charge for several hours. Your 5V adapter is plugged in, and the circuit breaker is not tripped, right?

If it doesn't start after that, press the reset button several times.

Also, check to see that there is no junk between the screen and the frame. And check each button to make sure none are stuck.
