I recently bought an HP Jornada 720 from my friend who upgraded to a laptop. I previously had a Psion 5mx with which I used a program called "m-router" to gain access to my broadband connection through the Psion's serial connection.

I can't seem to work out how to do it through the Jornada's usb-serial connection and I don't want to have to buy a PCMCIA LAN card.

I was just wandering if any of you guys know if it's possible?

Any help would be much appretiated,

Thanks,

Jon.

It can be done by running a proxy server on the machine that your PDA is sync'ed with and then configuring IE in Win CE with the IP address and port of your computer.

Hi Pullance, thanks for your reply,

excuse me if this sounds like a stupid question but how do I run a proxy server? I'm a bit new to this type of thing!

Could you tell me step by step?

Thanks a lot,

Jon.
