Greetings;
This is an excerpt from one of my posts and I felt it needs to be a Thread of it's own.
I have a "question why Bob_Katayama is not a Moderator here on this site, he was/is a vast knowledge base that I feel we need. I'd like to know if that's the reason for his posting countdown. As much as I am trying to help this board I feel that loosing him will be demoralizing, even to me. I ask the question can having mperetz as the Moderator on every board be advantagous to US as a whole? In the last incarnation no one person moderated all the boards and most had two.
I feel that losing Bob will send a negative message to everyone, please rethink your position. I myself have posted more in this last week that I have in the last 6 months, and would hope that it was not all in vain. You say this is a software change but I also see a possible power struggle, There is enough work for everyone so we don't need to alienate anyone. All you need to do is to look at how many people read Bob's postings to understand how many users look up to him and his advice."
How many other peoples posts do you see over 1100 views on, none, I dont' even see any over 500. It is a great loss for this board for bob to leave, it makes one question your main motivation.
I'm sorry to see Bob leave.
Scott
