Axim x50v & streets & trips 2005

I'm at a loss :mad: Recently purchased and loaded Streets & Trips 2005. Loaded the Pocket version for my new Axim x50v. Icon shows up but. . . . will not open. During d/l I got a fast message saying it (S & T) was made for an earlier version of op. sys.?

I'm running 2003 SE ver. 4.21.1088 on Dell. Act. Sync is 3.7.1. Seems like those are current.

I loaded MS Streets & Trips 2005. During install of S&T I got message saying it was for an earlier version of Window PC?

When I go to programs on the PPC, the icon for S & T is there but won't open :mad: I've dumped both programs on both machines and re-installed. No help there!

The MS site is a waste of time, no help, especailly if I don't want to pay for it.

I think that message is pretty normal on SE as nothing much has been written for it, but most programs I've tried work on SE thus far

Since it is Microsoft who would know.

Did you let it install where it wanted to on the ppc. Some programs have to go where they want to go.

Other than that I'd be at a loss aside from emailing micro soft. By the time you hear back third edition will be out and your problem will be fixed :-)

Thanks for your eply. Yea, when I installed progrm I just yep do ur own thing and install to ur noraml palce.

It's strange. . .The program seems to be loaded Got logo in the pragrams screen. Shows up @ start but just doesn't open.

Both MS & Dell sites are a waste of time!
I'll keep poking around and see waht I can do:rolleyes:
