Hello,

Picked up my Tungsten T over the weekend and loaded all my software. Nice little unit and I love the clarity of the screen. My problem is that I think I goofed up when I did my first sync. I didn't update the Palm software on my PC and just popped the device into my M125 cradle and ran it...

So now when I go to the "Keyboard" section on the device and click the box to "Enable Keyboard", I get the following error:

util.c, Line: 1023, No serial library -- Reset

Any help?

I did download and install the beta keyboard driver from Palm.com but I get the sync message that the file already exists...

*sigh*

Thanks in advance,

I believe that you will need a file utility program to remove the original keyboard driver from the Palm, and also remove it from your desktop backup, before installing the new version.

The only way that I found to delete that file, I had the same problem, was to do a Hard Reset so the TT is back to factory configuration. Before you do a Hard Reset, hotsync your TT, go to your Palm Profile folder and delete the keyboard.prc from the backup folder. Now you can do a Hard Reset.

You said you did not upgrade your Plam Desktop to v4.1? You need to do this, if you don't you will miss out on the voice capability and new notpad functions in the hotsync app.
