i had avantgo for about a week. i liked it but then i relized that i didn't really need it. its kinda a pain unless you have the i175

I believe that there may be a special version of AvantGo for the Zire at the downloads page of AvantGo's web site. There is no handheld called the i175. I believe you are referring to the Palm i705, which is a wireless handheld that uses web clipping applications. AvantGo is in fact a great freeware program, not a pain. It works excellent on almost every newer Palm model besides the Zire. The Palm i705 is no better for AvantGo then a lower-end PDA such as the m105 because they both have enough memory.
