IR Problems

Hi,

I have an IBM WorkPad c500 version of the Palm m500 running OS4. I seem to have problem communicating with other Palm OS devices. Whenever I try to send something, I am told that the connection was lost. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this problem? All the PalmOS devices I have tried communicating with thus far have all been OS3.x.

I have had IR problems with my IIIc and my old Visor caused by overclocking. Make sure you aren't using afterburner or a similar program. You may need to soft reset after disabling it.

I have problems beaming if I am too close to the other unit. I have to be as least 6" away. I have no problems beaming to or from my wife's m500 (OS4.0) - I have a Prism (OS3.5).
