When you do a full hard reset the opening screen should be a reddish screen with some very fine & illegible writings & some circular images on the screen.

I would suggest you charge your main battery fully. Remove both the main & backup batyteries. Reinstall the batteries - main first, backup second.

Start up the device & see if the strange image you are talking about has disappered.

To check the memory go to start-serttings - system & on one of the screens you will see the device specification including the version of the OS.

The cpu ID as r4000 is correct.

Hope this helps.

Hi

the picture that i see is what you answerd me.

and the memory shuld be 32mb, i opend the device and saw
only 2 chips of memory, other sites said that there shuld be 4 memory chips for E-105 (4x8=32mb), in E-100 only 2 chips (2x8=16mb)
do you now how can i check if this device is fake or hase been upgraded from E-100 ?
how can i tell by a serial No.
i bought this from a auction www.ubid.com (only $90), and they said that it is
a refurbished device from a reseller.

You have been had.

What must have actually happened is some one replaced the original E-105 main board with one from an E-100 & passed off the device with E-105 housing.

In fact one need not even go so far. One need only switch the backs & you have an E-100 with E-105 clothing.

I hope this helps although I have a feeling this is not going to help the situation.
