Palm V HELP PLEASE!

My boss was nice enough to give me his Palm V when he upgraded but I cannot figure out how to delete his information and change the user to me. Can anyone help? Is there an way to do this? Please let me know. Thanks in advance! Josie

You need to do a Hard Reset:
1) press the power button and don't let go yet.
2) press and release the reset button. Use either a paper clip or the reset pin hidden in the Palm V stylus.
3) After you see the Palm logo come up, release the power button.
4) It should ask you if you want to erase all data. Press the UP button, and all data will be erased. That will erase all 3rd party programs on the unit, too. Hopefully that will not be a problem to you.

Install the desktop software then do a HotSync. It should ask you for a user name. Enter whatever user name you want to use with your Palm V.
