Thinking of Buying IQUE on ebay

I am thinking of buying the 3600 Ique on ebay. What should I watch our for? What minimum guarantee time should I look for?

Honestly man, you can get the iQue 3600 really damn cheap on some sites. I wouldn't mess with buying one on eBay. Garmin doesn't grant your warranty on an eBay purchased unit, if the seller screws you and doesn't send you the unlock code and registration code, you don't have a leg to stand on. Not a good idea...

They are available from many online retailers in the low $400 range. About what you'd pay on ebay for one.

Just me, but I'd be hard pressed to buy used electronics off of eBay. The money you might save is no where near worth the piece of mind you get buying new from a reputable place. And like others said, if the seller doesn't send you the unlock code and all necessary other things, you're pretty much screwed.

There are some good retailers who sell on EBAY and providing you get a receipt from them (not showing it was purchased in an auction) you would probably be OK, if you buy a new unit.

Bought mine on EBAY 1 year ago. RMA'ed it to Garmin without a problem - told them it was a gift.

Bought mine from an eBay dealer as well. Garmin has had no problem providing service via 2 rma's and numerious phone calls.

Bought mine on e-bayfor $392 new in box. rma'ed twice no problem. go for it.
