I have an EM500, and most of the time, I have trouble connecting it to my desktop, as it is running XP (Curse you Microsoft!). If I bought a MMC Reader/Writer for my desktop, is there a way that I would be able to install games, etc. to the card itself and then either copy them to the PPC, or just run them from the MMC?
Any information you have would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks and have a great day,
Conrad:p

Don't know specifically about your question, but on your problem of transfering. Are you using Active Sync? If so do you have version 3.5 from Microsoft.
I run xp with couple pdas and have no problems using active sync.
Just a thought.

Can you access the MMC from the desktop ? If yes - you could copy the installation cab files to the MMC card externally & then simply run the file on the MMC for the application to install.
There have been some issues with the pcb design of the EM-500 cradle & Casio has updated the design with some aditional componets which should sort out your connectivity problems.
Hope this helps.
