I have Outlook on my desktop and I've set up a number of calendar items in and which, surprisingly, have ActiveStink'ed to my HX4700! (Result - for once).
At some point in time I'm going to reformat my desktop but before I do, is it possible to save what I have in Outlook (calendar, contact, inbox, etc) so that after I've reinstalled the OS, etc, I could use that saved information to 'restore' Outlook to what it had?

...ActiveSync installed now? There were issues in the past where this did not work...

Way to go guys! I downloaded the MS freebie and it does the job well enough.
Assasin: the link you gave looked very good but I don't need a $30 solution to what in my case is a $1 problem. Thanks for it anyway and I'm sure it does a better job than MS' backup but I deleted some items after a backup, and I was able to restore them using the MS freebie. Mind you, I need to delete something of everything and see if I can copy-and-paste, as you can never be too careful with MS?;)
