Driver for Windows XP - Zire 31

I'm having a really tough time getting Windows XP to recognise the driver for my Palm Zire 31 - any help? Have had no successful assistance from Palm and am getting a bit stuck as to what to do next?

Can you give us details as to what exactly happens when you try to connect? Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the Palm desktop? It's hard to give much advice with so little information.

Could it be your virus scan software, if you have any. I know that having your virus scan enabled while installing things can create problems.
