Axim x50v ac adpter

I have a question about the ac adpter that Dell sells, Is it possible to charge my axim´s battery with the ac adapter ?? I have heard that it only allows you to power your ppc not to charge.

Do I have to buy the Dell´s ac adpter ??? Can´t i use any other one? Will it charge my battery ?'

The ac power adapter will charge the battery inside the axim. You can use other power adapter as long as it has the same connector and power output specification.
