Hello to all,
Just found this forum and find it a bit overwhelming.
I am not wireless PDA active since my palm 7 is basically my address book, but now I am on a mission for my bride to research a PDA for her to use primarily for email and IM. Then later maybe for cell phone.
Current cell service is from ATT (CDMA) . We live in SE US, but do travel into areas that are not served by ATT GSM service both in US and in Mexico and Central America.
Do you have any suggestions on a PDM for primarily email and IM?
Could we get her a unit with phone cababilities that she could activate later after debugging and learning IM and email functions?
In limited research it appears that Treo has a lower cost per month than blackberry ( Earthlink claims $50 a month for service).
Jumping into this analysis five years late causes me to need to ramp up quickly to see what is out there to satisfy our current needs.
