x30 or x50?

hello world! After the tragic death of my iPAQ, the void in my life is vacuous. Only the purchase of expensive and superior technology will help shed me of the grief of losing poor compito (my iPAQ).

The two models I am looking at are the median X50, and the median X30. They have next to the same features, but the X50 has a faster processor, and 128MB flash space for $50 more.

Is it worth it? Previously my 200mhz iPAQ had ample horsepower to run my apps, why would I want a faster processor (512 as opposed to 300 something)?

The main benefit of x50 over x30 is that the x50 has 2 expansion slots, 1 cf slot and 1 sd slot and x30 only has sd slot. There are people who need cf slot. If you don't use any cf devices then x30 is a better choice. It is lighter, the extra memory is available in rom so it does not give you more memory to run programs but only as a permanent storage of programs or data which you can do with external sd memory card. The extra cpu speed will not effect PIM programs such as calendar, contacts, .... or normal day to day usage a great deal, it will be an important issue if you want to use it for playing video or graphic intensive games.
