Regards ipaq 3900

Was considering on buying an ipaq 3900 but not really sure of the entire functions of it.

*Does anyone know if it can record signals from a garage door opener? car alarm remote? or is the ipaq only able to record IR only?

*I have seen on the net somewhere that a silver casing that allows compact flash card attachment? Is that possible or have the web pictures decieved me? If so where can it be purchased?

*Has anyone tried viewing a digital camera's compact flash pictures after it was taken directly on your ipaq?

The remote is a standard "Consumer Ir" port used in remotes for devices. So if it's not an Ir remote you're out of luck. As for the pictures on a storage card from a camers, yes the pictures can be viewed, depending on the folder structure a third party viewer to get at them.
