My first Smartphone forum posting!
Have recently acquired a P900 and was delighted to read Martin Maxwell's posting on the Epoc Digest that it's possible to transfer one's entire Epoc ER5 contacts.cdb data file to a P900, by Ir (rather than by beaming as individual vCards), where it will be recognised by the Symbian7 OS, i.e. the file formats are identical! :) ...unfortunately, the posting didn't say how one did this - does one need a third party file manager for the P900 to access its System folder, since this doesn't seem possible 'out of the box'? (or could one explore the System folder from a PC with the desktop software installed?)
I really don't want to synch via Outlook on a PC, but a standalone netBook to P900 Ir database exchange ('poor man's' synching!) would be great, so how can I do this? Martin?...
