synching with public domain calendars

I am setting up my Diamond Mako for the first time--it's been on my desk for about a year. What I need to know is if I can synchronize it with any public domain calendar programs, such as Yahoo Calendar? Please advise. I appreciate any help you can provide. Maybe there are answers to questions of this nature somewhere else, if so I'd love to know where.
