E-Mail?!?!?!

I am running Palm OS 3.1 and am having trouble getting the built in mail app to work properly. i have it configured so it retrieves my mail from Microsoft Outlook 2000. However it keeps retrieving the mail from Microsoft Outlook express 2000.
please help me!!!

Did you sent the path to Outlook and then change it to Outlook express?
Is Outlook Express set up as your default mail handler? If not you need to go into Oulook Express/Tools/Options and set it as the default. If you have done this and are still having the problem it may be old registry settings give the default to Outlook.
As a last resort you can remove the PalmDesktop and reinstall it making sure to set up Mail when given the option. I believe that the Mail setup can be found on the Palm Install CD and run solo.
