.....Attach a palm to a PC USB port to transfer data, essentially using palm as a large floppy disk. anyone seen cables & software being offered for sale that does this ? thanks.

You already have all thatyou need. When you have it hooked up to a PC you just need o run MSImport and the memory stick becomes another drive in windows explorer.

No problem! I actually use my Clie with a 128 memory stick to back up the files on my PC.

It works great.
