All BB's have serial ports. I suppose it would be possible to send data from the serial port to a printer with a serial input. Some programing would be necessary... immo 11-19-2002, 07:08 AM http://www.nextel.com/services/nextelonline/rimspecs.shtml Specifications Dimensions 4.53" (l) x 2.95" (w) x .95" (d) Weight 5.64 oz with Standard Battery Antenna 1/2 Wave Retractable Band/Mode Single Mode, Single Band Device iDEN RF Interface Only Tx: 806-825 MHz Rx: 851-870 MHz Battery Life 900 mAh Lithium Ion (included) 165 minutes talk time 75 hours standby Battery Charge Time Charges Standard Battery to 100% in 5 hours from zero charge Screen Display Monochrome LCD Display, 160 x 100 Resolution Standard display format - 10 lines Compressed display format - 12 lines Zoom display format - 8 lines Keyboard Ergonomic 33 key QWERTY positive action tactile keyboard with space bar, cap lock, symbol key, alt key, del key, return key and back space. Works great for me. JimBobJoeRay 12-03-2002, 03:33 PM You should also be able to print wirelessly with the new BlackBerry software. Would be much easier then getting adapters. morser 12-04-2002, 09:25 AM Well and infrared port on the top of the blackberry would enable it to talk to printers, other blackberries, palms, pocket pcs. and it wouldn't cost much. why didn't RIM put one on? Maybe, just maybe, you could take a com - Infrared device like what comes with a new HP printer, and write some code for the port on the BBerry to talk to it. I bet it's possible....... Would be neat... borch1 12-06-2002, 11:55 AM Where were you able to buy the 6500? I want one. Thank you. NinjaMom 12-07-2002, 03:30 PM I just got the 6510 a couple of days ago.
