:confused: I am having real problems with a couple of things, I have tried and tried to install easy SMS when I unzip the program and double click it to install it to active sinc all I keep getting is "easy SMS.exe is not a valid win32 application" can someone please help me with this, also I have a PC card jacket on my Ipaq in the jacket I have a 2gb PCMCIA hard drive how do I install the programs that I have downloaded on to the card and not into the ipaq, as you can tell I am very new to the pocket PC this is my first serious one. Thanks for any help that you can give me sorry if I seem stupid but all I have done is confuse myself, by the way my laptop is running windows XP home addition....Thanks again :(

Copy this file directly to the iPAQ (move it to the <device> my documents shortcut on the desktop). If you then move it to the start menu you will have a shortcut showing in the start menu. If you move it anywhere else (a subdirectory under the Program Files directory), click and hold the exe file and select Send shortcut to start menu. This is a PPC executable, not a Windows desktop program.

And to answer this other question, for programs that provide installer that run on the desktop, start activesync then just follow instruction on the screen and when it asks if you want to install it to the default install location, say no (or uncheck the box) -- then select Storage Card. For programs that do not have installer like the one you are asking about, start activesync and just follow the above instruction and copy it using your desktop file explorer to storage card instead of main memory.

Thank you all very much I will try and do what you have advised I hope I can do it, this is my first ever pocket PC and I will just say I am not a youngster so I do struggle a bit with this techy stuff, thanks again :)
