battery problems???

I just got a used M130. I was told it is only 9 or so months old. It has not been used for a few months and the battery was completely discharged. Now, I fully charged the battery and it seems to hold a really good charge but sometimes the palm randomly shuts off while using it. Then at other times, it will not come on unless I plug it up to the hotsync/charger or do a soft reset. I was wondering if it could possibly be battery related since the battery had been completely discharged for a couple of months. Any ideas??? Thanks

It's very likely that the battery is the culprit. You can try on a power on soft rest to see if the battery cuircuit will come back in sync with the battery condition. While the M130 is plugged intp power, do a soft reset. Leave the machine charge for at least for hours before using it and see if that improves things.

Thanks for your reply. I did the soft reset while the M130 was charging. I have not had any more problems since then with it shutting down or not coming on so hopefully that did the trick. Thanks!
