Hi,

I am new when it comes to expansion slots. Can anyone tell me what the difference is between a CF Type I and a CF Type II slot? Also, can you tell me what I can do with a CF Type II slot?

The only difference between type I and II is the thickness. The II is slightly thicker. Thus a type II slot will run type I and type II cards, but a type I slot requires a type I card.

They make modems and I think network cards for the cf slot for some models. Also I think some allow gps but not sure.
