So, just as I got quite comfortable with my iQue (by getting rid of the 256M SD card in favor of a 1GB Lexor one; and by installing FastFinger), the thing got stolen, along with all of the accessories I'd acquired. Grump, grump.

But now I have to decide what to start over with. The discussion of the M5 (I think it's called) has been interesting, because I'm a Windows user on all my other computers, for example.

I'm curious to know what others would do in this situation. Get another iQue3600? Or what? Thanks, HPH

A postscript: my personal laptop also got stolen, so I'm using a desktop (we had lazy burglars who didn't take it) that is still here -- and it hasn't been used on this forum before.

FireFox shows those underlined key words that are advertising, so it's not just an IE problem. I'll have to put the extra lines into the hosts file. HPH

Tough break. Sorry to hear all that. I've become pretty attached to this little thing. If I were to start over, though, I'd save a little money and buy the 3200. The only use I've had for the voice recorder was to see if it really worked. Same with the MP3 player. Plus I'd gain the SDIO. I still like this whole setup and couldn't consider going to a totally different unit that was just GPS. I don't run all the extra apps that a lot of y'all do but I still enjoy my Que.

Thanks for the pointer (and I'm sorry to have been out of touch -- I finally got another computer).

Given my insurance company's depreciation policy, maybe the 3200 is a good choice. And I didn't use Betty either. HPH
