Well, My current Sony Minidisk player isn't working to well. So instead of jumping ship with all the Ipod users, I was considering possibly getting a Pocket PC instead.

I have about 5 GB of Mp3's I would like to have on the ppc.

This will be my primary use for it... Although the idea of watching movies (granted, I would put the Dvd's on serperate memory cards...)

As well as being able to leech off of works wireless networking for the internet (this is possible, correct?) Or someone's bluetooth. (this is legal, correct?)

Anyway, if it is possible to hold 5 GB worth of Mp3's on a ppc, which ppc would I be looking at? Dell X50v? The cheapier the better...but if the more expensive ones are the way to go, I'll scrap the money up for it.

As you can tell...I'm pretty new, and still reading up on things. But I figured if I could get this stuff cleared up, it would show me if I'm wasting my time or not. Thanks for the help

There isn't really a limit on the pocketpc side, just the limit on the size of the memory card. Currently there is only 5 gig cf memory card availble, so if you want to put all of your music in 1 card then you will need to look for model that has cf slot. Among the current model with latest OS, Dell Axim x50, HP iPAQ hx4705, HP iPAQ hx2750 and Asus A730 have dual cf and sd slot. Dell is the least expensive. All of these model can satisfy your other needs. If you are willing to save the files on several cards (1gig sd card is widely available and not too expensive), there are other models with only SD slot that are less expensivc, Dell x30 is probably still the least expensive.
