Is there a way to reassign the ESC function to one of the front hard buttons or perhaps to a Fast Finger script. I use my Que on a motorcycle inside the 2600 case and sometimes I need to reset the map to "wake it up". Presently this means I have to stop, open the case, and press escape. I'm hoping someone knows of a better way.

Thanks

JMckie has written another program called SideButton...you can find it on his home page or in the forums here.

I think his problem is the case does not allow access to the esc button.

jan6720, you have access to the front buttons and the screen correct? And you want to press Esc to recenter the map. There is a fastfinger script for that in the script thread.

Ah, sorry about that...didn't read your post closely enough. Mea culpa:)

If your intent is to recenter the map as JMckie has mentioned, you can also tap on the triangle button in the button bar below the map, although I would agree that when driving (especially on a motorcycle), a FastFinger button would be much better.

JMckie,
I must have missed it in the launcher script thread. I will look again. Fantastic little application you've got in FastFinger. I just loaded the app and started writing some script and it is a life saver on the road. Makes operating the Que on a 'scooter ever so much simpler.

Thanks.
