Hello:

I see from a thread below that it is possible to use (sync, etc.) two PDAs on one PC. I have a Palm Tungsten e, and a Sony Clie 615T.

Do I need special software to do this, or merely install software for both units?

Thanks!

It's a little tricky because you have a Palm and a Clie, both of which use different USB drivers. You can only have one copy of the Palm desktop installed. When you install the Clie Desktop, it will also install the Clie USB drivers. These will usually work with the T|E but not the other way around. The Clie desktop doesn't have all the features of the T|E desktop but it should work with the T|E. Unfortunately, the only way to find out is to experiment. uninstall any existing Palm software and then install the Clie Desktop. If that doesn't work, uninstall the Clie Desktop and install the T|E desktop, copying the Clie USB drivers from the Clie CD and then installing them. It usually takes bit of installing and uninstalling until you get the right combination.
