Compact, Move, Convert

I have a space issue on my Palm.

Is there a program that can compact everything on it but i can still use the applications?

Or is there something that can safely move some stuff to the memory card and the application will still work?

"Snails" a game, wont work on a memory card, is there a program that can move it to the memory card and still work?

The more space i can get the better.

There's an app called MemHack (it actually ends up in your Prefs, under Other) that works like MSMount--it lets you specify a folder on the card and MemHack tricks the OS into thinking that folder is in RAM. I don't think it will let you HotSync anything--it's read-only, if I remember right--but it might do what you want.

Aside from that, some add-on launchers (LauncherX, ZLauncher, etc.) will let you "bundle" apps and their data so when you launch the app from the card, the data is copied to the card too. When you exit the app, changes to the data are written to the card and the RAM copy is deleted.

why do you wanna work off the memory card? If it's a memory issue, how many applications do you have, and how many do you need? Are you storing other files (documents, media, etc) on a card, or on the handheld itself?
I'm sure that if you can state your problem clearly, you'll easily find an alternate solution; and if you can't state it clearly, then it probably isn't that bad of a problem.

MemHack version 1.2 is freeware. PalmGear is SELLING it? Hmmm... in the "About" for MemHack, it says "This is free software, and you are welcome to redistribute it under certain conditions, see file LICENSE for more details."
