Last summer on a trip to Rome I captured all the locations (including the hard-to-find churches) used in Dan Brown's novel Angels and Demons. Some touristy places are also included. I read the whole book while I was there and followed along the protagonist's adventures. Of course the novel was in eBook format carried along in my trusty iQue!
To install on Palm Desktop, first create a new category. Then select File | Import. There are 30+ waypoints.

why don't create a fixed thread in a forum with travel personal waypoints?
Thanks

I like davidajo's idea. People could compile waypoint lists showing off their respective cities/home towns - best bars, best restaurants, best attractions, etc.

Get on your knees and beg the moderators. They may say no in order to restrict the number of sticky threads that are visible. Otherwise, if enough people shout they might use one of the existing ones. The last time I asked, Ann said it would cost $200.;):D

Only kidding. The big problems with stickies that all can post to are:
1) No one, present company included, stays on topic in this forum unless I wield a huge club....and yes, I hit myself over the head once in awhile, too! :) The threads just go off on tangents and the point gets lost.
2) Stickies tend to mess up the reading of the forum. For some reason if you read from oldest to newest the stickies pop up in the way. I read the forum that way, and it screws it up every time.
3) Until today there has been absolutely no demand for this kind of thread.
Now, if someone wants to host this somewhere I can certainly put a pointer to the thread in our FAQ. Or there could be a locked sticky with a pointer, although I'm for the former in this suggestion.
