slightly panicked -- my palm only blinks

Was trying to read ebooks off an SD card and got error message (not enough free internal memory) and message to Reset. Did soft reset and now my Palm 505 only blinks its logo. If I try to turn it off it asks if I want to erase all data (!!?!!). I hit any key to say no, and it starts blinking again. What now?
I do have 3.9 MB internal memory free for the reader/books, which I guess isn't enough. Am getting frustrated with the reader thing. Is there a Best reader out there (one that will read the most stuff, maybe even off the SD card itself?)
This is all assuming my palm stops blinking and is once again usable?

Pop the card out and do a Warm Reset - press the reset button. Hope this works, otherwise you will have to Hard Reset :(

Had this happen to my m515 a few weeks ago. I don't remember what I was doing at the time, but the only solution was a hard reset. Luckily, I had backups of everything.
