[ique 3600] no more System sounds

Hi all,
I have a strange problem...

I do not have anymore "system" sounds... I mean no sound with the calendar reminders, no sounds when setting the system to "bip" when tapping with the stylus, and so on...

BUT I still have the GPS sounds... Betty's voice guidance is still OK...

anyone already had this ?

Sounds silly, but did you check your sound settings for the various applications? Tap on the loudspeaker sign at the bottom right.

Ok, obvious question time, so please don't be offended. You do realize that there are 6 different sound controls. System sounds is one of them. Click on the speaker icon and you will see a list of all the sound volume controls. Make sure system is turned up. Again, sorry if you've already checked that.

yes I haved checked all that... this is not the problem.

I can put all the cursors up to the max but no changes... (except for the volume of Betty's voice)

Exactly the same thing has happened to me several times. System sound (click when tap etc.) goes away, but everything else works.
A reset restored it for me, each time.

Thanks for the advice... did you do a soft or a hard reset to restore it ?
