I just got my wireless LAN card yesterday and was able to hook up my Jornada 728 to Windows XP through the terminal client. I can now control my XP machine and by logging into PUTTY ssh client, I can also control my Linux box. All done through my little Jornada. Sweet!

But....

There's one slight hitch. I can't figure out how to make the "function" characters when connected through the client. These are the characters that you must hit the "fn" key to create. These are the left and right curly braces, the left and right brackets, the tilde, the grave, the pound, and the euro symbols.

I don't care so much about the pound and the euro symbols, but when I'm programming on the Linux box, I definitely want the curly braces, brackets, and tilde.

Has anyone out there solved this problem?
